Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – Qualification Changes – Train the Trainer

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the world’s most forward-thinking professional accountancy body, with more than 208,000 fully qualified members and 503,000 students in over 180 countries.

In 2016, ACCA launched the research programme ‘Professional Accountants – the future’; designed to provide valuable insight into the future dynamics of the accountancy profession.

Following this research and in consultation with members and employers, ACCA made significant changes to the ACCA Qualification.

ACCA designed and delivered a global Train-the-Trainer programme which ran from October 2017 to November 2018, training and supporting over 2,000 tutors, with over 100 sessions, amounting to 200+ training days.

ACCA’s global, free-of-charge Train-the-Trainer programme has been an overwhelming success, enabling successful rollout of changes to the ACCA Qualification and up-skilling ACCA tutors on a global scale.


EIT Health InnoStars – EIT Jumpstarter

EIT Jumpstarter is a unique cross-industrial incubation program created by EIT Health, EIT RawMaterials and EIT Food, with the aim of creating sustainable impact in Central-, Eastern- and Southern-Europe by boosting innovation and entrepreneurship to revolutionize the EU market. The best talents from the emerging regions of Europe have the chance to participate in the selective, competitive program, that opens doors towards European markets and connects participants with the extensive partner networks of EIT Health, EIT Food and EIT RawMaterials. Through entrepreneurial skills trainings and personalized mentoring, teams get constant feedback and support for validation of their business concept. We introduce them to our partners, to VCs, regulatory bodies and companies that can produce their products, their first buyer or a test site. Networking is key for the Partners of the three EIT Communities as well as they are constantly searching for out-of-the box solutions to problems they are facing (eg. finding the most cost-effective treatment options for hospitals, or finding innovative ways to reduce food-waste), therefore they are motivated to join forces and contribute to the Jumpstarter program to upskill the Talent Pool in the emerging regions of Europe.


EIT Health InnoStars – StarShip

StarShip is a unique European year-long quality training programme created by EIT Health InnoStars – a regional collaboration network of healthcare professionals, global companies, universities and R&D centres backed by the European Union and representing less developed countries in terms of innovation in the EU. The main goal of the programme and the reason-to-be is to train the next generation of well-prepared, in terms of business and real-time healthcare challenges, leaders in health innovation by providing hands-on experience using the Stanford Biodesign Methodology and giving them a business toolbox for healthcare innovation. Since 2016, 60 best-in-class participants were trained and 5 top-tier companies were involved from 5 countries. The programme highly engaged its members and contributed to launch a spin-off and introduce breakthrough medical solution that can help European citizens. In the participants satisfaction survey, 75% participants confirmed that they were very satisfied with the overall quality of the StarShip programme (the average for all responses: 4.67). 100% declared that they would suggest enrolling for the next edition of the StarShip programme to their friend.


International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) – Global Educators Meeting 2018

Every 4 years the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) organizes the Global Educators Meeting (GEM). ISPO is a global, multidisciplinary, non-governmental organization aiming to improve the quality of life for persons who may benefit from prosthetic, orthotic, mobility and assistive devices.

GEM training initiative is an international collaboration of Prosthetics and Orthotics Educators for the purpose of ongoing exchange, professional development and supportive learning.

GEM brings together over 100 prosthetics and orthotics professionals. Each of them from different experiences and backgrounds but with one common vision: creating more standardized teaching methodologies in their profession in order to provide proper care to patients with physical disabilities.

The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) – The IPA Foundation Certificate

To support the IPA’s Continuous Professional Development programme, the UK’s advertising industry professional body (the IPA) launched first industry qualification in 2003. The programme is written by agency practitioners to maintain innovation and relevance. Since the launch of the Foundation Certificate, the IPA now boasts a portfolio of eight qualifications that support career development up to Board Director level.

To date over 22,000 + people within the advertising industry have achieved an IPA qualification globally, with over 97% of all new starters in IPA member agencies completing the Foundation Certificate exam annually. Seen as a rite of passage for both agencies and clients to on-board their new joiners, the qualification has also been tailored for other markets. This has established a global IPA standard of best practise learning for our industry’s future leaders, in both content and delivery.

In launching the Foundation Certificate in 2003, the IPA has been able to create a portfolio of diverse and dynamic learning for the new joiner or the c-suite, for online and offline, completed in one day to an entire year.


International Association of Public Transport (UITP) – UITP Centre for Training

International Association of Public Transport (UITP) was founded in 1885 and today it is a global association representing more than 1500 member organisations from 96 different countries. UITP Centre for Training responding to demand for members and non-members in Public Transport Sector for capacity building and investing in talent.

“UITP Centre for Training” is utilising from its member’s expertise to develop and deliver different training programmes for its members. For that reason all programmes were designed with strong involvement of members and lectured by staff of member companies which assured level of practical know-how and neutrality. UITP also joined forces with a number of strategic partners like the World Bank, United Nations and world prestigious universities to offer programmes with the best quality.

With this initiative of continuous learning; UITP developed a portfolio of different training programmes already organised in 57 different countries from Afghanistan to Mongolia, from Chile to New Zealand. More than 900 organisations sent delegates to UITP Training Programmes from not less than 95 countries so far.
