Winner: The Wine and Spirit Trade Association – Call Time on Duty [Video]

The ‘Call Time on Duty’ campaign was spearheaded by the WSTA and the Scotch Whisky Association with support from The TaxPayers’ Alliance to call for an end to the damaging alcohol duty escalator, which had imposed a year-on-year duty increase on wine and spirits of 2% above inflation. This was a well resourced and planned campaign that was particularly effective in Parliament on a cross-party basis.

An e-petition, which gathered more than 2,000 signatures in its first 24 hours is great evidence of mobilization.
