AFME – European Compliance & Legal Conference
We are pleased to enter AFME’s Inaugural European Compliance and Legal Conference to be considered for the Best Association Conference award. The event is deserving of such an accolade due to the success, innovation and high-quality content achieved in its inaugural first year.

The two-day conference took place in London and attracted 300 European delegates, including high level policymakers and regulators. Highlights included 12 hours of high quality content, featuring 60 industry speakers, a networking dinner featuring an expert speaker and four hours dedicated to networking during the conference itself.

Compliance and legal functions in today’s financial services industry are facing an unprecedented mix of challenges. We noticed a real gap in the market when it came to providing a forum for these industry practitioners to discuss and illuminate such themes. Therefore, the aim was to successfully launch the inaugural European Compliance and Legal Conference as the leading conference in the European financial sector. We wanted to create a gathering where industry could discuss key topics in operations, technology and regulation and leaders from across the wholesale banking industry could collaborate, share information and address industry challenges. 


ACCA – Global Learning Providers Conference
The ACCA Global Learning Providers’ Conference is run every two years and is the only occasion when our learning partners have the opportunity to meet both ACCA employees and their own peers from across the globe, in one location, to learn and exchange ideas. It is a unique event that is much anticipated and highly valued by the network. The conference took place in London on 26/27th April and was sold out.

The primary goal this year was to build our learning partners’ understanding of the significant changes to the ACCA qualification being introduced over the following 12 months.

BVI – BVI Asset Management Conference
The annual BVI Asset Management Conference in the heart of Frankfurt is set out to inform the asset management industry about the latest capital market trends and all relevant regulatory and strategic developments. Speakers range from politicians, economists, BVI experts to EU officials. Our latest keynote speakers included EMSA Chair Steven Maijoor, ECB economist Peter Praet, EU commissioner Lord Jonathan Hill, Bundesbank CEO Jens Weidmann and German constitutional court judge Udo Di Fabio.

Founded in 2005, the conference is now considered a must-see event among the fund industry attracting over 530 participants. It almost doubled in size and dramatically enhanced in terms of relevance and quality for the industry. We think this has a lot to do with the enhanced program. Ahead of compiling the program we think about the latest fundamental shifts concerning the industry and what will shape its future. We think about the gamechangers that will redefine the industry along the value chain, about the future landscape in which the industry will have to operate in, what the chances and risks are and about industry-specific pressures. This is then complemented by in-depth views about the regulatory developments by the BVI’s law and tax experts.


EDANA – OUTLOOK 2017
OUTLOOK™ 2017 the Nonwovens Personal Care & Hygiene Products Conference, is a 3-day conference held in Cascais, Portugal 27 – 29 September 2017.

It is the must-attend event for all decision-makers in this industry. To achieve a successful edition the team set the following 3 targets; match the conference content with the industry’s reality; grow attendance while keeping the promised quality of interaction and maximize satisfaction of participants.

Empowering the team with new communication techniques, to act consequently and consistently on previous feedback, and be willing to take risks by adopting new features, were the main drivers in boosting satisfaction and resulted in a record attendance and social media engagement of the nonwovens community.

The European Public Real Estate Association – EPRA Annual Conference 2017
The EPRA Annual Conference is European Public Real Estate Association’s flagship event, gathering stakeholders from the listed real estate sector. It has two main purposes: to create a knowledge sharing and networking platform, and to invite EPRA members to reflect on the opportunities created by the expanding sector.

For the 2017 edition, EPRA needed to rethink its elements to keep members engaged in the organisational process while maximising attendance and satisfaction. Upfront research and a members’ Conference Advisory Committee allowed EPRA to tailor the event to meet members needs. Direct input from confirmed speakers and members throughout development facilitated interaction before the event while novel marketing strategies leveraged both online and offline approaches.

The event was spread over three days: the first day dedicated to property tours, the second to high-level speakers and panellists, the third allowed 38 small and medium-sized companies to speed pitch to 100 pan-European investors.

A record number of sponsors took part, including, for the first time, three media sponsors. Delegates attended in record numbers, with a total of 455 attendees – including more than 130 C-suite attendees and more than 100 investors – across the three days. The media covered the event in eight languages.
